GLEN ROCK, NJ

The town itself originally derives from portions of Ridgewood and Saddle River Township.  The name Glen Rock has a unique story, "Glen" defined as small valley and "Rock" comes from a boulder that was carried by a glacial erratic over 15,000 years ago. Home to about 12,000 residents with a total area of just under 3 miles, this town is a home within a home. 

Located just about 20 miles north west of Midtown Manhattan, what residents speak most about is the walk ability of the town, Stroller friendly vibrant town that engages both incoming and current residents with a Newcomers and Neighbors club. Various nature trails hoover around the area and offer outdoor play space.

There is no bus service provided however all schools are within walking distance.
Commute to NYC:
​There are two train stations, Glen Rock Main or Glen Rock Borough Hall Stations. Commute time varies from 50-60 minute travel times with an exchange in Secaucus to New York Penn or Hoboken depending on your journey.
